Goal: Find the correct trial divisor that cleanly divides
the target composite number into valid letter pairs (A=01 to Z=26).
Arrow Controls & Number Box: Located on the top toolbar.

First, click on B 02. The number 2082901 will appear in the box 'composite number:'
This number has 2 prime factors. The object of the puzzle is to work out the 2 factors.
Now enter 2 numers in the trial divisor box between 01 and 26.
The chart above will show what number the letters of the alphabet are.
Since numbers do not start with 0 we can rule out 01,02,03,...09 we will start at 10.
The letter J appears below. thats because J is the 10th number of the alphabet.
Now look at the quotient. We have the letter T.
So if the first letter of the divisor is J then the first letter of the quotient is T.
Now we can enter anothe 2 numbers. try 01 (A).
The T is followed by the number 82, but there is no letter 82.
Try 02, we get 78. Try 03, we get 76. As the divisor gets bigger the quotient gets smaller.
We need to get below 26 to get a letter.
So lets increase the divisor to 26. we are now down to 30. still too big.
We therefore will have to change the first number from 10 to 11.
We now have K and R. The R is followed by 93.
1101 gives us 91. 1126 gives us 49. still too big.
12 gives us L and Q. Q must be followed by U (21). So we will have to enter 1210.
We now have QU. But QU is not a word, so we will have to go to 13.
This gives us M and P. M could be follow by an A, so we will enter 01.
1301 gives us MA and a quotient of PA.
We have found the divisors of the number, 1301*1601=2082901 Wich is MA*PA
