Trousered Tunic

The trousered tunic is in fact the same as the knee length tunic. The tunic, having a split at the front and back of the garment allowed for the fabric to be wrapped and tied around the legs, giving it a trouser like appearance. As there is no split visible at the neckline of the garment and the garment appears to be of one piece, the tunic would require to be open at the bottom like a skirt in order to put it on.
