This scene ends the meeting between Guy and William. Of note in this scene are the ribbons on Williams cloak and the heraldic dragon displayed on the shield of the guard. No formal heraldry is apparent at this time but some devices do appear on some of the shields in the tapestry. Seals were well established at this time and were most likely the forerunner to the art form heraldry. The tree again acts as a scene divider. A two humped camel appears in the upper border. The dromedary, or Arabian camel, has a single hump and the Bactrian camel has two humps. It is native to Central and East Asia.
