Adelaide of Normandy
Princess Adelaide of Normandy (c.1026 in Calvados, France - c.1090) was the sister of William the Conqueror.
She was the daughter of Robert the Magnificent and Harlette de Falaise, and married three times; first Enguerrand II of Ponthieu by whom she had no issue; second Lambert II, Count of Lens, by whom she had a daughter who was ancestor of later Scottish monarchs; and third Eudes II of Champagne son of the Count of Troyes.
She gained the title of Princess when William the Conqueror became King of England.
