Balfour Castle


Balfour Castle, Shapinsay

Balfour Castle is an historic building on the southwest of Shapinsay, Orkney Islands.[1] Although built around an older structure dating at least from the 1700s, the present castle was commissioned by Colonel David Balfour erected in the year 1847 by Edinburgh architect David Bryce.
