A 16th-century Z-plan castle, Beldorney Castle is located west of the River Deveron in North West Aberdeenshire. It is close to the border with Moray and about 6 miles west of Huntly. Originally a strong-hold of the Ogilvies, the castle has been previously owned by the Gordon, Lyon, Buchan and Grant families.

The castle was modernised in the 19th century, restored in the 20th century and today remains in domestic use.
