Edingham Castle

Edingham Castle, Dumfries and Galloway

Edingham Castle is a late 16th Century tower house situated near Dalbeattie, Dumfries and Galloway. It has been a small structure, measuring about 28 feet from east to west by 20 feet 2 inches. The entrance is on the east side, and it leads into a small porch, from which two doors lead into the vaulted ground floor, which was divided into two apartments. The stair is in the south-east corner, and leads to the first and second floors.
