Rossmanagher Castle

Inside the castle there are 3 floors.The spiral staircase only rises to the 1st floor and then 3 more steps rise to the 2nd floor.On the 2nd floor is a small passage which leads to the toilet.

The date of construction of the castle is unclear, however, other tower houses in the same area were constructed around 1470. Rossmanagher Castle may likewise date to that period. In 1580 the castle was owned by the Earl of Thomond. The castle was later occupied by the tenants of the Earl’s representatives.
