St John the Baptist Cathedral, Norwich
The Cathedral Church of St John the Baptist is a Roman Catholic cathedral in the city of Norwich, Norfolk, England, United Kingdom.
It was constructed between 1882 and 1910 as a parish church dedicated to John the Baptist. The funds for its construction were provided by Henry Fitzalan-Howard, 15th Duke of Norfolk. It was consecrated as a cathedral in 1976 to serve as the seat for the newly-restored Bishop of East Anglia.
As one of two Cathedrals in the city of Norwich, it can be confused with the Church of England Norwich Cathedral, completed in the Norman style in 1145.
